Thomas Tuchel is set to start Ben White in his England XI against Japan, eSPORTY understands.
The Arsenal defender was booed when he came off the bench in the 1-1 draw with Uruguay on Friday night, and even when he scored.

White received a surprise call-up to the squad having not played for England since controversially leaving their 2022 World Cup squad.
Despite the negative response, head coach Tuchel has handed him a start at right-back against Japan – which is live on eSPORTY on Tuesday night.
The 28-year-old will appear in the Three Lions starting XI for the first time since March 2022.
Tuchel’s decision will give White huge confidence in making his squad for the World Cup this summer.
Manchester City starlet Nico O’Reilly is also set to be in the line-up in what will be his third England outing since making his senior debut in November.
Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon also comes into Tuchel’s team, while Phil Foden will start again but in a new false nine role.
Negative response to White inclusion
Despite it being a little over three years ago, White’s World Cup walkout is still seemingly still fresh in the minds of England fans.
eSPORTY’s chief football anchor Adrian Durham hit out at Tuchel for his decision to play him.
“On the Ben White thing, he’s completely not read the room,” he said the morning after the draw with Uruguay.
“What Thomas Tuchel needs to do is understand England fans better, and I thought he would have done by now.

“He’s got a lot of positives, Thomas Tuchel, but this is a definite negative and it’s really counting against him.
“Last October when we played Wales, he had a go at the England crowd at Wembley for not producing an atmosphere, and then he picks Ben White.
“What does he think is gonna happen? Ben White’s gonna be booed.
“This is a guy who walked out on his teammates, he walked out on a World Cup squad, and we still don’t know (why).
“Nobody’s had decency, Ben White hasn’t come forward to tell the paying England fans who pay a fortune, by the way, to go worldwide to support their country and to back their players.
“Nobody has told those fans why that happened and then he just waltzes straight back in. What did Thomas Tuchel think was gonna happen?”

Is this why White left?
Durham also explained some of the rumours surrounding White and his decision to leave the World Cup in Qatar.
“Now I’m going to give you what the speculation is and I don’t really care if people don’t like me saying it. I genuinely don’t care.
“This is what I’m led to understand has happened with Ben White. The players were told to watch videos of opponents and they were given videos on their laptops, iPads, whatever it was.
“He decided not to and the England analysts knew, because they had the tech, who had and who hadn’t watched the videos. When asked about it, Ben White got really upset about it to the point where he quit England.
“If that is true, why on earth would Thomas Tuchel want him back in the squad when he’s not prepared to put the hard yards in to be as good as he possibly can against the opponents England are up against.
“If it’s not true, I apologise, but let’s have the flipping truth.”
