Philippine boxing legend Manny Pacquiao has reiterated that his rematch fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a professional bout and not an exhibition.
Recall that Pacquiao, 47, and Mayweather, 49, will fight at Sphere in Las Vegas on Saturday, 19 September, with the bout live on Netflix.
Mayweather and Pacquiao first met in 2015, in what was billed as the ‘Fight of the Century’ and remains the richest in boxing history.

It was Mayweather who emerged victorious, beating Pacquiao via a wide unanimous decision in Las Vegas.
Speaking with AFP, Pacquiao stated that his fight with Mayweather is a real fight.
“I want to be very clear that the contract we signed is for a professional boxing match. This is not an exhibition; it is a real fight.
“I wish to clear up any misinformation regarding my upcoming bout against Floyd Mayweather. From the beginning, my intention has been to give the fans what they truly want to see. A high-level, competitive sanctioned fight,” he said.
