Former Germany Coach In Discussions With Ghana FA Over World Cup Job

Former Germany coach Joachim Löw has been linked with the Ghana job ahead of the World Cup.

The Ghana Football Association are in search of a new head coach following the dismissal of Otto Addo this week.

The GFA are keen to appoint a new coach with the World Cup less than three months away.

According to Ghanasoccernet, Low is close to agreeing terms with the Ghanaian FA over a short-term deal to cover the summer’s World Cup.

The German is ready to accept a modest salary of €150,000-a-month to take the post.

Löw led Germany to win the World Cup in 2014. He remained in the German national team until the summer of 2021.

Ghana are in the same World Cup group with England, Croatia, and Panama.
