Championship: Maja On Target In West Brom’s Draw With Wrexham

Josh Maja grabbed a goal as West Bromwich Albion were held to a 2-2 draw by Wrexham at the Hawthorns on Friday.

George Dobson slotted the ball into his own net to hand the hosts the lead in the 26th minute.

Maja doubled the lead from the penalty spot seven minutes before the break.

The 27-year-old has so far scored three goals and registered one assist in 33 league appearances for the Baggies.

The striker was replaced by Daryl Dike 18 minutes from time.

Wrexham got their goals through Issa Kaboré, and Josh Windass.

The visitors paraded Nigerian-born goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo in the game.
