Another amazing revelation has emerged about the success story of 21-year-old Nigerian-born boxing superstar, Moses Enriko Itauma, with sources close to the latest heavyweight prodigy indicating that his older brother is his biggest mentor.

Sports247 gathered that the older Itauma, Karol is also a boxer and he has now been cited as a major secret behind his younger sibling’s majestic surge to the top of the heavyweight ranks in global boxing.
Karol Itauma was present at ringside on Saturday night in Manchester, as his younger brother knocked out USA’s Jermaine Franklin in round five and took his professional career log to 14 wins, 12 of which came via knock out, and no defeat.
Saturday’s victory has been tagged Moses Itauma’s most impressive and biggest savage knockout yet, much to the delight of 25-yrear-old Karol, who won gold for Great Britain at the Youth Olympics in 2018.
Karol initially also appeared on the way to a successful boxing career, until he lost to Argentina’s Ezequiel Maderna and, though he later won four fights after his horror loss, his efforts are now focused mainly on guiding his younger brother.
This was confirmed by a close associate of Karol’s, Johnny Fisher, who stated on SunSport’s Split Decision show: “Having a big brother who goes through a few of them trials and tribulations that can have a good impact for you later on in life.
“It’s nice he’s got Karol there. I’ve met Karol a few times when he’s come down to the gym. He’s got his own career and he’s had his own trials and tribulations. He can learn from that, like any big brother teaches his younger brother as well.”
Similarly, Team GB’s boxing youngster, Isaac Okoh revealed that Karol is an influence for himself and the perfect role model for Moses, adding: “I think it’s having a good team around you as well to sort of protect you and guide you in the right direction.”
