Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi has been cleared to face Oxford United on Friday in the Championship.
Recall that the Nigerian international was ruled out in the Super Eagles’ 2-2 draw against Jordan in an international friendly on Tuesday due to injury.
Ajayi was part of the team that defeated Iran 2-1 last Friday and was substituted in the second half for Emmanuel Fernandez after sustaining a slight knock.

Despite the injury scare for the former West Brom defender, Hull City has cleared him to face Oxford United, and he will travel with the squad on Thursday evening after successfully training with the team, according to the club’s website.
Ajayi has made 16 appearances for Hull City this ongoing season and bagged one goal.
The Tigers are currently sitting 5th on the league table and in a race for promotion to the Premier League.
