In a bold move set to reshape fan engagement and grassroots sports development, the All Sports Supporters’ Club of Nigeria has officially unveiled Lagos NURTW Chairman Adekunle Mustapha Sego as its newest ambassador.

The high-profile ceremony, led by club president Johnson Dagana, brought to get her key stakeholders, sports enthusiasts, and dignitaries, signaling a strategic push to deepen the club’s reach across communities.
Representing the leadership, National Deputy President Musiliu Jimoh Alao presented a customized crested jersey to Sego—officially marking his entry into one of Nigeria’s most recognized supporter groups.

“This is a deliberate step to strengthen our grassroots presence,” Alao declared.
“Sego is a respected leader with strong community influence, and we believe he will help mobilise greater support for Nigerian sports.”
Sego, a powerful figure within the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos, did not hide his excitement as he accepted the role.
“I am truly honoured. This is a call to serve and contribute to the growth of sports in our nation,” he said.
He went further, promising to use his influence to promote unity and positive fan culture.
“Sports unite people. I am committed to supporting the club’s vision and encouraging discipline, participation, and national pride,” Sego added.
