Raducanu Withdraws From Linz Open

British tennis star, Emma Raducanu has withdrawn from the upcoming Linz Open (April 6–12), marking her second consecutive tournament withdrawal due to a lingering viral/chest infection.

Previously skipping the Miami Open, she is focusing on recovering from post-viral symptoms originating from the Transylvania Open in February before starting the clay-court season.

Her last match was a loss to Amanda Anisimova at Indian Wells on March 8, where she mentioned a lack of energy.

The 23-year-old is prioritizing health to ensure a full recovery before the main European clay-court season begins, aiming for the Madrid Open.

Raducanu is not the only Brit to decide not to compete, as Katie Boulter and Francesca Jones also decided to miss the fixture, meaning Sonay Kartal, Harriet Dart, Jodie Burrage, and Mika Stojsavljevic will be flying the flag for Team GB.
