Werder Bremen midfielder Jens Stage believed Victor Boniface can help the club’s push for Bundesliga survival.
Boniface returned to individual training this week after a three-month injury layoff.
The Nigeria international is expected to return to action before the end of the season.

The Green and Whites are 14th in the Bundesliga standings with 28 points from 27 matches, just four points outside the relegation zone with seven rounds of matches to the end of the regular season.
Stage insisted that Boniface has the greatest potential in the squad.
“I haven’t seen him yet. I hope he comes in a good mood, gets fit quickly, and can help us on the pitch. He perhaps has the greatest potential in the squad,” Stage was quoted by the club’s official website.
“He’s a really good footballer and popular in the dressing room. He’s a cool guy. We need good footballers.”
