Former Shooting Stars coach Fatai Amoo has lauded the performance of Super Eagles defender Emmanuel Fernandez against Jordan in Tuesday’s international friendly game.
Recall that the Rangers defender netted his fist goal for the senior national team in Nigeria’s 2-2 draw against Jordan.
It was his second appearance for the Super Eagles after featuring against Iran last week Friday.

Reacting to his performance, Amoo in a chat with Completesports.com, stated that Fernandez has proven his worth with the team.
He praised his composure, aerial prowess and ability to score a goal.
“I am impressed with the new boy, Fernandez. Scoring in his second appearance for the Super Eagles simply shows the hunger and determination in him.
“He has proven his worth with the team, and I know he will be a big asset for the Super Eagles. His composure and aerial prowess make me feel Fernandez has come to stay with this team.”
