Rovers FC were involved in a road accident near Asaba, Delta State on Tuesday, reports Completesports.com.
The team was en route to Lagos for a rescheduled Nigeria National League , NNL, clash with Sporting Lagos.
According to a statement from the club’s management, the team bus lost control during the trip and tumbled, resulting in injuries to players, officials, and staff.

Rovers FC also confirmed that one of the players is in critical condition, and is receiving intensive medical care in hospital.
The club termed the incident painful, noting that the injured players are currently receiving the best possible treatment and support.
The management stressed that player welfare remains their top priority at this time.
