Nigerian-born Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) former middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya has vowed to keep his career going in The Octagon, despite losing his fourth straight fight this past weekend.

Sports247 reports that the New Zealand-based former two-time title holder, gave up in the second round of his fight with Joe Pyfer in Seattle, USA, which added to earlier defeats by Sean Strickland, Dricus du Plessis and Nassourdine Imavov.
That provided an extension to the ongoing scary dip for ‘The Last Style Bender,’ whose last victory was in 2023, when the 36-year-old’s fighter defeated Alex Pereira in a rematch, having lost five months earlier to the same opponent.
However, despite his recurring slides, Adesanya stressed that he will not bow out just yet, even as he admitted there is a need for him to reassess his strategy and tactics after succumbing to the superior strength of the younger Pyfer.
Adesanya declared defiantly: “You keep going; again and again and again. I’m not leaving. You’ll never stop me. I might get beat, but I’ll always remain undefeated. I expected the best from Joe Pyfer.
“I knew this was his biggest fight ever. I expected his best and he brought the best. I said coming into this fight, it’s been 13 months (since I last competed). I wanted to feel like I’d been in a fight. He gave me just that.”
