Former Everton man Kean plundered six goals in five international matches in 2025 and is in good goalscoring form his club since the turn of the year too.
It will be a tough assignment for Northern Ireland without both Connor Bradley and Dan Ballard.
Michael O’Neill has called for his players to be ‘fearless’ out on the pitch. But could be hard-pressed to make enough goal-scoring opportunities in a narrow Italy win to nil.
