Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix has expressed his determination to make the France 2026 World Cup squad.
Lacroix, who made his debut against Brazil in Thursday night’s international friendly at the Gillette Stadium, Massachusetts, stated that he’s not in the US to make up the numbers.

“The World Cup, in the United States, of course it’s a dream. I played my first match on Thursday, in front of this American crowd and in this type of stadium.
“It’s a truly amazing atmosphere. These are the kinds of competitions you really want to play in. I even think the World Cup might be the most watched and followed competition in all of sports.
“I want to be part of this kind of competition.”
