Former Arsenal and Germany nationwide crew star midfielder Mesut Ozil has been banned from visiting his previous membership, Werder Bremen.
The Bundesliga membership has determined to not welcome the 36-year-old due to a tattoo that options symbols linked to far-right teams.
Ozil, who performed for Arsenal, Actual Madrid, Werder Bremen, Fenerbahce, and Schalke throughout his profession, retired from soccer in June 2023 on the age of 34.
However now, Werder Bremen has distanced itself from Ozil after he confirmed off a tattoo of a gray wolf and a flag with three crescent moons. These photographs are identified to be related with far-right organisations that promote anti-semitism, excessive nationalism, and far-right views.
Due to the tattoo, Ozil was not too long ago left off the visitor listing for an occasion at Werder Bremen. The membership held a tribute for his or her former participant Diego Ribas, and Ozil was not invited, in line with German newspaper Bild.
Ozil and Ribas as soon as performed collectively at Bremen earlier than Ozil moved to Actual Madrid in 2010.
