Tremendous Eagles participant Moses Simon has welcomed Eric Chelle as the brand new head coach of Nigeria’s nationwide soccer workforce. The Nigerian Soccer Federation (NFF) not too long ago appointed Chelle to take over from Augustine Eguavoen, who had been appearing as interim coach. Eguavoen helped the workforce qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

Moses Simon turned the primary Tremendous Eagles participant to greet Chelle after his appointment. Simon posted a message on social media saying, “Bienvenue au Nigéria,” which suggests “Welcome to Nigeria.”
The Tremendous Eagles are struggling of their 2026 World Cup qualifiers. After 4 matches, they haven’t received a sport and are ranked fifth of their group, which incorporates Rwanda, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and Benin Republic.
Simon is hopeful that Chelle might help the workforce enhance and improve their probabilities of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
